Step 3: Understand follower expectations
| Action | Happens automatically? |
|---|---|
| See published posts/events in feed | Often yes, when content is public |
| Receive email or in-app alerts | Only when organizers notify |
| Get tickets | No — purchase separately |
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Likely cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Cannot follow | Email not verified | Verify your email |
| Feed empty | No published content yet | Wait for org to publish or check back later |
| Expected email, got none | Publishing ≠ notifying | Normal — organizers send notifications separately |
