Introduction

Ticket types define how attendees register or pay for your event — free admission, paid general admission, VIP, and more. This guide shows Sub-Admins and Organization Admins how to add free and paid tickets before attendees use buy tickets or My Tix.

Add one or more ticket types per event. Paid tickets require organization Stripe Connect.

Steps

Step 1: Open ticket settings for your event

  1. Open your event in the Sub-Admin or Organization Admin workspace.
  2. Go to Tickets or Ticket types.
  3. Click Add ticket type.

Step 2: Add a free ticket type

  1. Select Free or set price to $0.
  2. Enter a name (for example, “General admission — free”).
  3. Set capacity or unlimited registration if available.
  4. Save the ticket type.

Step 3: Add a paid ticket type

  1. Click Add ticket type again.
  2. Select Paid and enter the price.
  3. Set capacity and sale start/end dates if needed.
  4. Save the ticket type.

Step 4: Confirm on the public event page

  1. Ensure the event is published with correct visibility.
  2. Open the public event page as a test.
  3. Confirm each ticket type appears for purchase or claim.
