By using Trepy or participating in monetization, event, livestream, subscription, ticketing, payment, or organizational functionality, you acknowledge and agree to this Verification Policy.

By Agreeing to this Agreement, you are agreeing to all of the forgoing policies and terms.


1. PURPOSE OF VERIFICATION

Trepy may use verification processes intended to help:

  • reduce fraud;
  • maintain platform integrity;
  • reduce payment risks;
  • comply with legal obligations;
  • support trust and safety efforts;
  • protect users and organizations;
  • support payment processing requirements;
  • investigate suspicious activity;
  • reduce impersonation risks.

Trepy reserves broad discretion regarding verification standards, procedures, timing, and operational decisions.

2. TYPES OF VERIFICATION

Trepy may require or conduct verification relating to:

  • user identity;
  • business identity;
  • organizational ownership;
  • banking information;
  • tax information;
  • payment information;
  • event operations;
  • livestream activity;
  • subscription activity;
  • communications activity;
  • fraud-prevention concerns;
  • trust and safety reviews.

Verification requirements may vary depending on:

  • platform usage;
  • monetization activity;
  • transaction volume;
  • operational risks;
  • geographic region;
  • payment provider requirements;
  • legal obligations.

3. WHO MAY BE SUBJECT TO VERIFICATION

Trepy may require verification from:

  • Organizers;
  • Sellers;
  • Treps;
  • sub-admins;
  • livestream hosts;
  • subscription operators;
  • ticket sellers;
  • payout recipients;
  • users engaged in elevated-risk activity;
  • users involved in suspicious activity reviews.

Trepy may also conduct reviews relating to:

  • repeated disputes;
  • fraud indicators;
  • unusual transaction activity;
  • policy violations;
  • operational risks.

4. INFORMATION THAT MAY BE REQUESTED

Trepy may request information including:

  • legal names;
  • business names;
  • addresses;
  • phone numbers;
  • email addresses;
  • government-issued identification;
  • tax documentation;
  • banking information;
  • business registration documents;
  • ownership information;
  • organizational information;
  • event-related documentation;
  • operational information.

Trepy reserves discretion regarding what documentation is required.

Failure to provide requested information may result in restrictions or termination.

5. THIRD-PARTY VERIFICATION PROVIDERS

Trepy may rely on third-party providers for identity verification, fraud prevention, payment processing, operational monitoring, or compliance support.

These providers may include:

Trepy may share information with third-party providers where reasonably necessary to:

  • process payments;
  • verify identities;
  • investigate fraud;
  • maintain operational integrity;
  • comply with legal obligations.

Trepy does not control all third-party verification systems or outcomes.

6. NO GUARANTEE OF VERIFICATION STATUS

Verification does not guarantee that a user, organization, Seller, Organizer, or Trep is:

  • trustworthy;
  • financially stable;
  • legally compliant;
  • safe;
  • authentic in all respects;
  • free from misconduct.

Verification may be limited in scope and operational in nature.

Users remain responsible for exercising independent judgment when interacting with others through the platform.

Trepy is not responsible for independent user conduct.

7. PLATFORM BADGES OR STATUS INDICATORS

Trepy may provide visual indicators, badges, labels, or verification-related status indicators.

Such indicators may reflect:

  • identity review completion;
  • payment-related review completion;
  • operational review status;
  • platform-specific verification processes.

Verification indicators do not constitute:

  • endorsements;
  • guarantees;
  • certifications;
  • warranties;
  • legal approvals.

Trepy reserves discretion regarding:

  • issuance of indicators;
  • removal of indicators;
  • interpretation of verification status.

8. FRAUD-PREVENTION REVIEWS

Trepy may investigate activity involving:

  • suspicious transactions;
  • chargeback activity;
  • payment anomalies;
  • impersonation concerns;
  • abusive conduct;
  • communications abuse;
  • subscription abuse;
  • ticketing abuse;
  • livestream abuse;
  • operational risks.

Trepy reserves the right to:

  • delay payouts;
  • freeze settlements;
  • suspend monetization;
  • restrict features;
  • request additional documentation;
  • suspend accounts;
  • terminate accounts.

Trepy may cooperate with:

  • payment processors;
  • financial institutions;
  • fraud-prevention providers;
  • regulators;
  • law enforcement where reasonably necessary.

9. CONTINUING VERIFICATION OBLIGATIONS

Users subject to verification obligations must maintain accurate and current information.

Trepy may require updated information where:

  • operational risks change;
  • transaction activity changes;
  • legal obligations change;
  • payment provider requirements change;
  • suspicious activity arises.

Trepy reserves the right to conduct ongoing or repeated reviews.

10. FAILURE TO COMPLETE VERIFICATION

Trepy may restrict or terminate access where users fail to:

  • complete verification requirements;
  • provide requested documentation;
  • respond to operational reviews;
  • cooperate with fraud-prevention investigations.

Restrictions may include:

  • payout freezes;
  • monetization restrictions;
  • ticketing restrictions;
  • livestream restrictions;
  • account suspension;
  • account termination.

Trepy reserves discretion regarding enforcement decisions.

11. PAYMENT-RELATED VERIFICATION

Payment-related functionality may depend on:

  • banking verification;
  • tax verification;
  • payout verification;
  • payment processor reviews;
  • reserve requirements;
  • fraud reviews.

Trepy does not guarantee:

  • payout approval;
  • uninterrupted monetization;
  • uninterrupted payment processing;
  • approval by third-party payment providers.

Relevant third-party provider policies may include:

  • Stripe Services Agreement
  • Stripe Restricted Businesses List

12. EVENT AND LIVESTREAM VERIFICATION

Trepy may review event or livestream-related activity involving:

  • high-risk events;
  • elevated transaction activity;
  • repeated disputes;
  • intellectual property concerns;
  • operational concerns;
  • legal risks.

Trepy may request:

  • venue documentation;
  • organizational documentation;
  • event information;
  • operational details;
  • livestream-related information.

Trepy reserves the right to:

  • restrict events;
  • disable livestream functionality;
  • freeze settlements;
  • suspend accounts.

13. PRIVACY AND DATA HANDLING

Verification-related information may be processed in accordance with:

  • the Trepy Privacy Policy;
  • applicable legal obligations;
  • fraud-prevention requirements;
  • payment-processing obligations.

Trepy may retain verification-related records for periods reasonably necessary to:

  • maintain platform integrity;
  • prevent fraud;
  • comply with legal obligations;
  • resolve disputes;
  • support investigations.

Trepy does not guarantee immediate deletion of verification records.

14. INTERNATIONAL USERS

Verification requirements may vary depending on:

  • jurisdiction;
  • applicable laws;
  • payment-provider requirements;
  • operational risks;
  • regional compliance obligations.

Trepy reserves discretion regarding international verification processes and eligibility.

15. THIRD-PARTY ACTIONS

Trepy is not responsible for independent actions taken by:

  • payment processors;
  • financial institutions;
  • fraud-prevention providers;
  • communications providers;
  • infrastructure providers;
  • regulators.

Third-party providers may independently:

  • restrict services;
  • deny verification;
  • freeze transactions;
  • reject payouts;
  • terminate accounts.

16. NO GUARANTEE OF PLATFORM SAFETY

Verification processes are operational tools intended to reduce certain risks.

Trepy does not guarantee:

  • prevention of fraud;
  • prevention of impersonation;
  • prevention of misconduct;
  • prevention of chargebacks;
  • prevention of unlawful conduct.

Users interact with others through the platform at their own risk.

17. DISCLAIMERS

THE PLATFORM AND VERIFICATION SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.”

Trepy does not guarantee:

  • verification approval;
  • uninterrupted monetization;
  • uninterrupted payouts;
  • uninterrupted verification functionality;
  • uninterrupted access to payment systems.

Trepy reserves broad discretion regarding:

  • verification standards;
  • operational reviews;
  • enforcement actions;
  • fraud-prevention decisions.

18. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TREPY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

  • denied verification;
  • payout delays;
  • payout freezes;
  • monetization restrictions;
  • verification disputes;
  • third-party verification decisions;
  • fraud-related losses;
  • reputational harm;
  • lost profits;
  • indirect damages;
  • incidental damages;
  • consequential damages;
  • punitive damages.

Certain jurisdictions may not allow some limitations.

19. INDEMNIFICATION

Users, Organizers, Sellers, Treps, and commercial users agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Trepy and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, contractors, agents, and partners from claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses arising from:

  • fraudulent activity;
  • inaccurate verification information;
  • operational risks;
  • chargebacks;
  • payment disputes;
  • policy violations;
  • violations of law;
  • violations of this Verification Policy.

20. GOVERNING LAW

This Verification Policy shall be governed by the laws of the State of Georgia without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

The Federal Arbitration Act governs interpretation and enforcement of arbitration provisions.

21. BINDING ARBITRATION

Except where prohibited by law, disputes arising out of or relating to verification processes, fraud-prevention reviews, payment restrictions, account restrictions, or related platform activity shall be resolved exclusively through final and binding individual arbitration.

The arbitration agreement is governed by the Federal Arbitration Act.

Either party may seek temporary injunctive relief where reasonably necessary.

22. CLASS ACTION WAIVER

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

  • claims may only be brought individually;
  • class actions are waived;
  • representative proceedings are waived;
  • collective proceedings are waived;
  • consolidated proceedings are waived.

The arbitrator may not consolidate claims or preside over representative proceedings.

23. MODIFICATIONS TO THIS POLICY

Trepy may update this Verification Policy from time to time.

Updated versions may be posted through the platform.

Continued use of Trepy after updates may constitute acceptance of revised terms.
