1. OUR GENERAL APPROACH
Trepy seeks to maintain a platform that is:
- useful;
- respectful;
- operationally reliable;
- legally compliant;
- reasonably safe;
- resistant to fraud and abuse.
Trepy attempts to balance:
- user expression;
- organizational independence;
- operational flexibility;
- legal compliance;
- platform integrity;
- infrastructure protection;
- user safety.
Moderation and enforcement decisions may involve contextual judgment and operational discretion.
Trepy does not guarantee that all users, content, events, communications, or livestreams will always comply with platform policies or applicable laws.
2. PLATFORM ROLE
Trepy provides technology infrastructure that may include:
- organization management;
- sub-admin systems;
- audience engagement tools;
- communications systems;
- event publishing;
- ticketing systems;
- livestreaming systems;
- payment integrations;
- check-in systems;
- reporting systems;
- notifications.
Except where expressly stated otherwise, Trepy generally acts as a platform provider and infrastructure operator.
Trepy is generally not:
- the organizer of all events;
- the publisher of all content;
- the operator of all venues;
- the employer of creators or organizations;
- the producer of all livestreams;
- responsible for independent user conduct.
Users, organizations, Treps, and event operators remain independently responsible for their conduct, communications, content, events, and operations.
3. MODERATION PHILOSOPHY
Trepy seeks to enforce platform policies in ways that support:
- platform integrity;
- legal compliance;
- operational stability;
- infrastructure protection;
- user safety.
Trepy may take action relating to:
- unlawful conduct;
- fraud;
- abusive behavior;
- spam;
- phishing;
- ticketing abuse;
- communications abuse;
- harassment;
- exploitative conduct;
- intellectual property violations;
- platform manipulation;
- security threats;
- payment risks.
Trepy may evaluate context when reviewing activity.
Not all violations are treated identically.
Trepy reserves discretion in determining:
- whether violations occurred;
- the severity of violations;
- appropriate enforcement actions;
- operational responses.
4. TYPES OF ENFORCEMENT ACTIONS
Trepy may take actions including:
- warnings;
- content removal;
- reduced visibility;
- livestream termination;
- messaging restrictions;
- feature limitations;
- payout holds;
- event suspension;
- ticket cancellation;
- account suspension;
- permanent account termination;
- fraud investigations;
- legal reporting.
Trepy may act:
- proactively;
- reactively;
- manually;
- automatically;
- based on reports;
- based on third-party notifications;
- based on legal obligations;
- based on operational risk assessments.
Trepy may act without prior notice where reasonably necessary.
5. AUTOMATED SYSTEMS
Trepy may use automated systems, analytics systems, machine-learning tools, operational monitoring systems, fraud-detection systems, or third-party technologies to help:
- detect fraud;
- identify suspicious activity;
- reduce spam;
- monitor infrastructure abuse;
- identify security threats;
- investigate reports;
- reduce operational risks.
Automated systems may generate false positives or false negatives.
Trepy does not guarantee that automated systems will:
- identify all violations;
- prevent all abuse;
- operate without error.
Human review may not occur in every circumstance.
6. REPORTING CONTENT OR CONDUCT
Users may report concerns involving:
- fraud;
- harassment;
- abusive conduct;
- phishing;
- intellectual property violations;
- communications abuse;
- security concerns;
- unlawful content;
- policy violations.
Trepy may review reports at its discretion.
Trepy does not guarantee:
- investigation outcomes;
- response timing;
- enforcement actions;
- content removal;
- account suspension.
Trepy may prioritize reports based on:
- severity;
- operational risk;
- legal obligations;
- infrastructure threats;
- available resources.
7. LIVESTREAMS AND REAL-TIME CONTENT
Trepy may support livestream and real-time communications functionality.
Trepy does not actively monitor all livestreams or real-time interactions continuously.
Trepy may:
- terminate livestreams;
- restrict broadcasting access;
- remove recorded content;
- suspend accounts;
- restrict event functionality.
Trepy does not guarantee real-time intervention relating to harmful or unlawful content.
Users participate in livestreams and events at their own risk.
8. EVENTS, VENUES, AND ORGANIZATIONAL RESPONSIBILITY
Organizations, Treps, event operators, instructors, performers, presenters, and venues are independently responsible for:
- event operations;
- attendee safety;
- venue practices;
- event communications;
- staffing;
- livestream production;
- legal compliance;
- customer service;
- refunds where applicable.
Trepy is not responsible for:
- venue conditions;
- attendee conduct;
- organizer negligence;
- performer conduct;
- crowd management;
- independent event disputes.
Trepy may take platform-level enforcement actions relating to event abuse or operational risk concerns.
9. COMMUNICATIONS SAFETY
Trepy may provide:
- in-app notifications;
- email systems;
- SMS systems;
- audience communication tools.
Trepy seeks to reduce:
- spam;
- phishing;
- messaging abuse;
- unlawful marketing;
- fraudulent communications.
Organizations and Treps are independently responsible for:
- obtaining required consent;
- complying with communications laws;
- complying with carrier requirements;
- honoring opt-out requests.
Trepy reserves the right to:
- monitor messaging activity;
- restrict campaigns;
- suspend communications functionality;
- terminate messaging privileges.
Trepy does not guarantee prevention of all abusive communications.
10. PAYMENT, TICKETING, AND FRAUD PREVENTION
Trepy may use operational controls intended to reduce:
- chargeback abuse;
- fraudulent ticket sales;
- bot activity;
- payment fraud;
- identity fraud;
- ticket manipulation;
- settlement abuse.
Trepy may:
- delay settlements;
- freeze payouts;
- reverse transactions;
- require identity verification;
- investigate suspicious activity.
Trepy reserves discretion in evaluating fraud risks and operational concerns.
Trepy is not responsible for:
- banking outages;
- processor interruptions;
- chargeback decisions;
- financial institution actions.
11. THIRD-PARTY PROVIDERS
Trepy relies on third-party providers and infrastructure.
These may include:
- Stripe;
- Twilio;
- Mux;
- cloud infrastructure providers;
- analytics providers;
- communication providers;
- payment processors.
Trepy may receive reports, restrictions, or enforcement signals from third-party providers.
Third-party providers operate under their own:
- terms;
- acceptable use policies;
- operational requirements;
- legal obligations.
Relevant provider policies may include:

Trepy is not responsible for:
- provider outages;
- third-party restrictions;
- carrier filtering;
- processor decisions;
- third-party enforcement actions.
12. APPEALS AND REVIEW
Trepy may allow users or organizations to request review of certain enforcement actions.
However:
- review processes may vary;
- review availability may vary;
- review timing may vary;
- not all decisions are appealable.
Trepy reserves discretion regarding:
- whether appeals are reviewed;
- whether actions are modified;
- whether accounts are reinstated.
Trepy does not guarantee reversal of enforcement decisions.
13. LAW ENFORCEMENT AND LEGAL REQUESTS
Trepy may respond to:
- subpoenas;
- court orders;
- legal process;
- regulatory requests;
- law enforcement requests;
- emergency disclosures where permitted by law.
Trepy may preserve or disclose information where reasonably necessary to:

Trepy does not guarantee notice before responding to legal requests where prohibited or impractical.
14. TRANSPARENCY LIMITATIONS
For security, legal, privacy, operational, and fraud-prevention reasons, Trepy may not publicly disclose:
- all moderation methods;
- all fraud-detection systems;
- all enforcement thresholds;
- all security controls;
- all operational procedures;
- all investigative techniques.
Trepy reserves discretion regarding what operational information is disclosed publicly.
15. PLATFORM EVOLUTION
Trepy continuously evolves.
Policies, enforcement systems, moderation tools, communications systems, ticketing systems, livestream systems, and operational procedures may change over time.
Trepy reserves the right to:
- modify moderation practices;
- modify enforcement systems;
- change operational procedures;
- update safety controls;
- add or remove functionality;
- update review systems.
Trepy does not guarantee continuity of any specific moderation or safety feature.
16. DISCLAIMERS
TREPY PROVIDES THE PLATFORM “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.”
Trepy does not guarantee:
- prevention of harmful conduct;
- prevention of fraud;
- uninterrupted moderation;
- uninterrupted enforcement;
- removal of all harmful content;
- prevention of abusive communications;
- universal policy enforcement consistency.
Trepy is not responsible for:
- user-generated content;
- independent organizational conduct;
- event disputes;
- livestream conduct;
- third-party actions;
- unlawful user behavior.
Users participate in the platform at their own risk.
17. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TREPY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:
- harmful content;
- offensive conduct;
- fraud;
- ticket disputes;
- livestream disputes;
- communications abuse;
- organizer conduct;
- venue conditions;
- enforcement decisions;
- moderation decisions;
- indirect damages;
- incidental damages;
- consequential damages;
- punitive damages;
- reputational harm;
- lost profits.
Certain jurisdictions may not allow some limitations.
18. ARBITRATION AND CLASS ACTION WAIVER
This Transparency Policy is subject to the arbitration and class action waiver provisions contained in the Trepy Terms of Service.
Disputes relating to moderation, enforcement, safety systems, communications, ticketing, livestreaming, or related platform activity shall be resolved through binding individual arbitration governed by the Federal Arbitration Act.
Users waive participation in:
- class actions;
- representative proceedings;
- collective proceedings;
- consolidated claims.
19. MODIFICATIONS TO THIS POLICY
Trepy may update this Transparency Policy from time to time.
Updated versions may be posted through the platform.
