This Subscription Billing & Cancellation Policy (“Subscription Policy”) governs recurring billing, subscription services, memberships, recurring access products, premium content access, paid communities, recurring livestream access, digital subscriptions, and related recurring-payment functionality made available through Trepy.
This Subscription Policy supplements the:
- Trepy Terms of Service
- Trepy Platform Seller Agreement
- Trepy Creator / Trep Agreement
- Trepy Refund & Ticketing Policy
- Trepy Payment Dispute & Chargeback Policy
- Trepy Terms for Paid Livestream Access
- Trepy Privacy Policy
By purchasing, enrolling in, managing, selling, offering, subscribing to, renewing, or otherwise participating in subscription-based services through Trepy, you agree to this Subscription Policy.
NOTE: THIS AGREEMENT CONTAINS ARBITRATION, INDEMNIFICATION, AND CLASS ACTION WAIVER CLAUSES

By Agreeing to this Agreement, you are agreeing to all of the forgoing policies and terms.
1. TREPY’S ROLE
Trepy provides technology infrastructure that may assist organizations, Treps, Sellers, creators, organizers, instructors, presenters, performers, and businesses with:
- subscription management;
- recurring billing;
- membership access;
- digital access management;
- recurring livestream access;
- premium audience access;
- recurring communications;
- customer engagement;
- billing workflows.
Except where expressly stated otherwise, Trepy generally acts solely as a technology platform provider.
Trepy is generally not:
- the seller of subscription offerings;
- the provider of subscription content;
- the merchant of record unless expressly stated;
- responsible for organizer or Seller conduct;
- responsible for independent business operations.
Sellers and Organizers remain solely responsible for their subscriptions, memberships, content, communications, pricing, and customer obligations.
2. SUBSCRIPTION SERVICES
Trepy may support recurring billing models including:
- memberships;
- subscriptions;
- premium communities;
- digital content access;
- recurring livestream access;
- educational subscriptions;
- coaching memberships;
- creator communities;
- audience memberships;
- recurring event access.
Subscription functionality may vary depending on:
- Seller settings;
- organizational settings;
- payment provider functionality;
- regional limitations;
- platform capabilities.
Trepy does not guarantee availability of all subscription functionality in all jurisdictions.
3. RECURRING BILLING AUTHORIZATION
By purchasing a subscription through Trepy, users authorize recurring charges using the selected payment method according to the billing frequency disclosed at the time of purchase.
Billing frequencies may include:
- weekly;
- monthly;
- quarterly;
- annually;
- custom recurring intervals.
Recurring billing authorization continues until:
- canceled by the user;
- canceled by the Seller or Organizer;
- terminated by Trepy;
- payment failure occurs;
- subscription access otherwise ends.
Users are responsible for reviewing subscription details before purchase.
4. AUTOMATIC RENEWALS
Unless otherwise stated, subscriptions may automatically renew at the conclusion of each billing cycle.
Renewals may occur using the payment method associated with the account.
Renewal pricing may:
- change over time;
- vary by region;
- vary by promotional period;
- vary by organizational settings.
Trepy and Sellers reserve the right to modify subscription pricing where permitted by applicable law.
Users remain responsible for reviewing billing information and account activity.
5. CANCELLATION
Users may cancel eligible subscriptions at any time through available account-management functionality where provided.
Cancellation generally prevents future recurring charges after the current billing cycle unless otherwise disclosed.
Unless otherwise required by law:
- cancellation does not automatically generate refunds for prior billing periods;
- partially used billing periods generally are not prorated;
- access may continue until the end of the active billing cycle.
Some subscription offerings may include separate cancellation terms disclosed by the applicable Seller or Organizer.
Users are responsible for canceling subscriptions before renewal dates if they do not wish to continue recurring billing.
6. SELLER AND ORGANIZER RESPONSIBILITY
Sellers, Organizers, Treps, and commercial users offering subscriptions are independently responsible for:
- subscription disclosures;
- pricing;
- recurring billing compliance;
- customer communications;
- cancellation handling;
- support obligations;
- fulfillment obligations;
- refund policies;
- legal compliance.
Trepy does not supervise or control independent subscription businesses.
Trepy is not responsible for:
- Seller conduct;
- Organizer conduct;
- subscription quality;
- content quality;
- customer disputes;
- fulfillment disputes.
7. PAYMENT PROCESSING
Trepy may integrate with third-party payment providers including:
- Stripe
Payment processing may involve:
- banks;
- payment gateways;
- card issuers;
- financial institutions;
- fraud-prevention providers.
Trepy does not control:
- processor approvals;
- banking decisions;
- card issuer determinations;
- financial institution policies.
Trepy is not responsible for interruptions caused by third-party payment systems.
8. PAYMENT FAILURES
Subscription access may be interrupted, suspended, or terminated where:
- payments fail;
- cards expire;
- payment methods are declined;
- fraud concerns arise;
- account restrictions occur.
Trepy or Sellers may attempt to retry failed payments where permitted by applicable law.
Users are responsible for maintaining accurate billing information and valid payment methods.
Trepy does not guarantee uninterrupted subscription access following failed payments.
9. REFUNDS
Refund eligibility for subscriptions may depend on:
- Seller policies;
- Organizer policies;
- applicable law;
- promotional terms;
- operational circumstances.
Unless otherwise required by law:
- subscription payments may be non-refundable;
- partially used billing periods may not be prorated;
- missed usage does not automatically qualify for refunds;
- dissatisfaction alone does not automatically qualify for refunds.
Trepy may facilitate operational processing of approved refunds where authorized.
Trepy does not guarantee refund approval.
10. FREE TRIALS AND PROMOTIONS
Certain subscriptions may include:
- free trials;
- promotional pricing;
- introductory pricing;
- temporary discounts.
Unless canceled before the applicable deadline, subscriptions may automatically convert into paid recurring subscriptions.
Users are responsible for monitoring:
- trial expiration dates;
- promotional terms;
- billing schedules.
Trepy does not guarantee reminder notices before renewals.
11. SUBSCRIPTION CONTENT AND AVAILABILITY
Subscription offerings may include:
- livestreams;
- recordings;
- downloadable content;
- educational materials;
- premium community access;
- event access;
- recurring content.
Content availability may change over time.
Trepy does not guarantee:
- permanent access;
- uninterrupted access;
- perpetual storage;
- continued availability of specific content;
- continued participation by specific creators or organizations.
Content may be modified, removed, discontinued, or restricted without notice.
12. COMMUNICATIONS RELATING TO SUBSCRIPTIONS
Trepy and Sellers may send communications relating to:
- billing;
- renewals;
- cancellations;
- subscription updates;
- account management;
- event updates;
- livestream access.
Communications may occur through:
- email;
- SMS;
- in-app notifications;
- platform messaging systems.
Users remain responsible for maintaining accurate contact information.
Trepy does not guarantee message delivery.
13. PROHIBITED CONDUCT
Users may not:
- evade subscription fees;
- share accounts improperly;
- distribute paid content unlawfully;
- rebroadcast subscription content unlawfully;
- bypass technical protections;
- manipulate billing systems;
- conduct payment fraud.
Trepy reserves the right to:
- suspend access;
- terminate subscriptions;
- restrict accounts;
- investigate suspicious activity.
14. CHARGEBACKS AND PAYMENT DISPUTES
Users should contact the applicable Seller or Organizer before initiating chargebacks where reasonably possible.
Improper or fraudulent chargebacks may result in:
- subscription termination;
- account restrictions;
- loss of access;
- collections activity where permitted by law;
- legal action where permitted.
Trepy reserves the right to dispute chargebacks and provide transaction-related information to financial institutions.
15. THIRD-PARTY PROVIDERS
Trepy relies on third-party providers and infrastructure.
These may include:
- Stripe;
- cloud infrastructure providers;
- hosting providers;
- analytics providers;
- communications providers.
Relevant provider policies may include:
- Stripe Services Agreement
- Stripe Privacy Policy
Trepy is not responsible for:
- provider outages;
- payment interruptions;
- infrastructure failures;
- third-party restrictions;
- banking delays.
16. FORCE MAJEURE
Trepy shall not be liable for interruptions caused by events beyond reasonable control, including:
- internet outages;
- banking outages;
- cloud infrastructure failures;
- cyberattacks;
- governmental actions;
- pandemics;
- provider outages;
- payment network disruptions.
Trepy does not guarantee uninterrupted subscription functionality.
17. DISCLAIMERS
THE SUBSCRIPTION SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.”
Trepy does not guarantee:
- uninterrupted subscription access;
- uninterrupted billing functionality;
- uninterrupted livestream access;
- uninterrupted communications;
- content availability;
- business success;
- customer satisfaction.
Trepy is not responsible for:
- Seller conduct;
- Organizer conduct;
- subscription quality;
- content quality;
- third-party outages;
- payment interruptions;
- customer disputes.
Users assume risks associated with subscription purchases and recurring billing.
18. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TREPY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:
- subscription disputes;
- billing disputes;
- recurring billing interruptions;
- payment interruptions;
- content removal;
- livestream interruptions;
- lost profits;
- reputational harm;
- indirect damages;
- incidental damages;
- consequential damages;
- punitive damages.
Trepy’s aggregate liability relating to subscription services shall not exceed the greater of:
- amounts paid directly to Trepy during the twelve (12) months preceding the claim; or
- one hundred U.S. dollars ($100).
Certain jurisdictions may not allow some limitations.
19. INDEMNIFICATION
Users, Sellers, Organizers, and Treps agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Trepy and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, contractors, agents, and partners from claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses arising from:
- subscription offerings;
- recurring billing disputes;
- chargebacks;
- refund disputes;
- communications;
- content disputes;
- violations of law;
- violations of this Subscription Policy.
20. GOVERNING LAW
This Subscription Policy shall be governed by the laws of the State of Georgia without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
The Federal Arbitration Act governs interpretation and enforcement of arbitration provisions.
21. BINDING ARBITRATION
Except where prohibited by law, disputes arising out of or relating to subscriptions, recurring billing, membership access, payments, cancellations, or related platform use shall be resolved exclusively through final and binding individual arbitration.
The arbitration agreement is governed by the Federal Arbitration Act.
Either party may seek temporary injunctive relief where reasonably necessary.
22. CLASS ACTION WAIVER
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:
- claims may only be brought individually;
- class actions are waived;
- representative proceedings are waived;
- collective proceedings are waived;
- consolidated proceedings are waived.
The arbitrator may not consolidate claims or preside over representative proceedings.
23. MODIFICATIONS TO THIS POLICY
Trepy may update this Subscription Policy from time to time.
Updated versions may be posted through the platform.
Continued use of subscription functionality after updates may constitute acceptance of revised terms.
