This Refund & Ticketing Policy (“Ticketing Policy”) governs ticket purchases, refunds, event access, livestream access, settlements, and related ticketing functionality made available through Trepy.

By purchasing, selling, transferring, accepting, using, or accessing tickets through Trepy, you agree to this Ticketing Policy.

By Agreeing to this Agreement, you are agreeing to all of the forgoing policies and terms.



1. THE ROLE OF TREPY

Trepy provides a technology platform that helps organizations, Treps, event operators, instructors, performers, hosts, speakers, educators, and communities:

  • publish events;
  • distribute tickets;
  • manage event access;
  • manage seating;
  • manage livestream access;
  • process transactions;
  • coordinate event communications;
  • facilitate attendance workflows.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, Trepy is generally not:

  • the organizer of events;
  • the operator of venues;
  • the producer of performances;
  • the provider of livestream content;
  • responsible for independent event operations.

Organizations and event operators are independently responsible for their events, services, policies, and operations.

2. TICKET PURCHASES

Tickets purchased through Trepy may include:

  • general admission tickets;
  • assigned seating tickets;
  • section-based seating;
  • virtual event access;
  • livestream access;
  • multi-day event access;
  • event bundles;
  • promotional tickets;
  • complimentary tickets.

Ticket availability is not guaranteed until:

  • payment processing is completed;
  • transactions are approved;
  • confirmation is issued.

Trepy reserves the right to:

  • cancel suspicious transactions;
  • limit quantities;
  • restrict purchases;
  • refuse transactions;
  • verify identity;
  • delay fulfillment for fraud review.

3. DIGITAL TICKETS

Trepy may provide tickets digitally through:

  • mobile applications;
  • email delivery;
  • digital wallet functionality;
  • QR codes;
  • barcode systems;
  • account-based access.

Users are responsible for:

  • maintaining account access;
  • protecting ticket credentials;
  • securing devices;
  • reviewing event details;
  • ensuring compatibility with supported devices.

Trepy is not responsible for:

  • lost devices;
  • unauthorized ticket transfers caused by user negligence;
  • unsupported devices;
  • internet connectivity failures;
  • device malfunctions.

4. EVENT CHANGES

Events may change.

Organizations or event operators may:

  • reschedule events;
  • change venues;
  • modify seating;
  • alter lineups;
  • modify schedules;
  • change livestream access;
  • update event details.

Trepy is not responsible for event changes made by organizations or event operators.

Users should monitor:

  • event notifications;
  • emails;
  • SMS messages;
  • in-app updates;
  • event pages.

Trepy does not guarantee advance notice of all event changes.

5. EVENT CANCELLATIONS

Refund eligibility relating to canceled events may depend on:

  • organizational policies;
  • venue policies;
  • applicable laws;
  • payment processor rules;
  • event-specific terms.

Unless otherwise required by law or stated by the organization:

  • convenience fees;
  • processing fees;
  • service fees;
  • third-party fees

may be non-refundable.

Trepy may facilitate refunds where authorized by the event organizer or required by law.

Trepy is not responsible for losses relating to:

  • travel expenses;
  • lodging expenses;
  • parking expenses;
  • incidental expenses;
  • missed opportunities;
  • indirect damages.

6. RESCHEDULED EVENTS

If an event is rescheduled:

  • tickets may remain valid for the new date;
  • refund eligibility may depend on organizational policies and applicable law;
  • livestream access may be modified.

Organizations and event operators determine many event-specific refund decisions.

Trepy may facilitate operational processing of approved refunds.

7. NO-SHOWS AND MISSED EVENTS

Unless required by law or expressly stated otherwise:

  • missed events;
  • no-shows;
  • partially attended events;
  • late arrivals;
  • unused tickets

generally do not qualify for refunds.

Users are responsible for:

  • arriving on time;
  • reviewing event details;
  • ensuring access to tickets;
  • ensuring compatible devices and connectivity.

8. LIVESTREAM EVENTS AND VIRTUAL ACCESS

Trepy may support livestream or virtual event access.

Users acknowledge that livestream functionality depends on:

  • internet connectivity;
  • third-party infrastructure;
  • device compatibility;
  • event operator systems;
  • streaming providers.

Trepy does not guarantee:

  • uninterrupted streaming;
  • video quality;
  • audio quality;
  • playback quality;
  • device compatibility;
  • uninterrupted access.

Temporary interruptions, buffering, outages, latency, or technical issues do not automatically qualify for refunds unless otherwise required by law.

Organizations or event operators may determine refund eligibility for livestream-related issues.

9. ASSIGNED SEATING AND VENUE CONFIGURATIONS

Trepy may support:

  • assigned seating;
  • section-based pricing;
  • custom venue maps;
  • configurable seat plans.

Seat maps and venue configurations may be approximate.

Actual venue conditions may vary.

Organizations and venues may:

  • modify seating layouts;
  • reassign seats;
  • alter venue configurations;
  • adjust accessibility arrangements.

Trepy is not responsible for:

  • obstructed views;
  • venue conditions;
  • seating disputes;
  • accessibility limitations caused by venues;
  • third-party venue operations.

10. EVENT ENTRY AND CHECK-IN

Event operators may require:

  • valid tickets;
  • government-issued identification;
  • age verification;
  • security screening;
  • account verification;
  • device presentation;
  • compliance with venue policies.

Trepy is not responsible for denied entry resulting from:

  • violation of venue policies;
  • disorderly conduct;
  • intoxication;
  • failure to present required identification;
  • expired or invalid tickets;
  • ticket transfers violating event rules.

Trepy may support digital check-in functionality but does not guarantee uninterrupted scanning or access systems.

11. TICKET TRANSFERS

Certain events may allow ticket transfers.

Transfer eligibility depends on:

  • organizational settings;
  • event restrictions;
  • venue policies;
  • applicable laws.

Users are responsible for ensuring transfers are lawful and authorized.

Trepy may restrict or prohibit transfers where:

  • fraud risks exist;
  • event operators prohibit transfers;
  • technical or legal limitations apply.

Trepy is not responsible for disputes between private parties relating to transferred tickets.

12. FRAUD PREVENTION

Trepy reserves the right to:

  • review transactions;
  • freeze suspicious activity;
  • cancel tickets;
  • suspend settlements;
  • request identity verification;
  • reverse transactions;
  • restrict event access.

Trepy may investigate:

  • chargeback abuse;
  • fraudulent purchases;
  • bot activity;
  • ticket manipulation;
  • unlawful resale;
  • suspicious account activity.

Users may be required to provide additional verification information.

13. REFUND PROCESSING

Approved refunds may:

  • require processing time;
  • be subject to banking delays;
  • be subject to processor delays;
  • be returned to the original payment method where possible.

Trepy does not guarantee refund processing timelines.

Refund timing may depend on:

  • financial institutions;
  • payment processors;
  • card issuers;
  • banking systems.

Trepy is not responsible for delays caused by third-party financial systems.

14. FEES AND CHARGES

Trepy may facilitate:

  • service fees;
  • convenience fees;

  • platform fees;
  • settlement adjustments.

Certain fees may be:

  • non-refundable;
  • retained following canceled transactions;
  • retained following refunds where permitted by law.

15. TAXES

Ticket purchases may include:

  • sales taxes;
  • amusement taxes;
  • entertainment taxes;
  • regulatory fees;

Organizations and event operators are independently responsible for many tax obligations associated with their events.

Trepy may facilitate tax collection or reporting functionality where applicable.

Trepy does not provide tax advice.

16. CHARGEBACKS AND PAYMENT DISPUTES

Users should contact the applicable organization or Trepy support before initiating chargebacks where possible.

Improper or fraudulent chargebacks may result in:

  • ticket cancellation;
  • account restrictions;
  • suspension;
  • collections activity;
  • legal action where permitted.

Trepy reserves the right to dispute chargebacks and provide transaction-related information to financial institutions.

17. THIRD-PARTY PAYMENT PROVIDERS

Trepy relies on third-party payment providers and infrastructure.

These may include:

  • Stripe;
  • banking providers;
  • card networks;
  • financial institutions.

Third-party providers operate under their own:

  • terms;
  • privacy policies;
  • operational requirements.

Trepy is not responsible for:

18. EVENT OPERATOR RESPONSIBILITY

Organizations and event operators are independently responsible for:

  • event quality;
  • venue operations;
  • attendee safety;
  • legal compliance;
  • refunds where applicable;
  • event communications;
  • accessibility compliance;
  • staffing;
  • livestream production;
  • operational decisions.

Trepy is not responsible for:

  • independent event conduct;
  • organizer negligence;
  • venue conditions;
  • performer conduct;
  • event disputes;
  • attendee behavior.

Users participate in events at their own risk.

19. FORCE MAJEURE AND UNFORESEEABLE EVENTS

Trepy and event operators may experience interruptions caused by events beyond reasonable control, including:

  • severe weather;
  • natural disasters;
  • pandemics;
  • government restrictions;
  • labor disputes;
  • internet outages;
  • infrastructure failures;
  • security incidents;
  • third-party outages.

Trepy is not responsible for losses arising from force majeure events.

Refund eligibility in force majeure situations may depend on:

  • applicable law;
  • event operator policies;
  • venue policies;
  • insurance coverage;
  • third-party provider decisions.

20. DISCLAIMERS

TICKETING SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.”

Trepy does not guarantee:

  • uninterrupted event operations;
  • uninterrupted livestreams;
  • uninterrupted ticket access;
  • error-free venue configurations;
  • event quality;
  • performer attendance;
  • uninterrupted check-in functionality;
  • uninterrupted payment processing.

Trepy is not responsible for:

  • event cancellations;
  • schedule changes;
  • venue conditions;
  • travel losses;
  • lodging losses;
  • attendee disputes;
  • organizer conduct;
  • third-party outages;
  • carrier or infrastructure failures.

Users assume risks associated with attending or participating in events.

21. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TREPY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

  • event cancellations;
  • schedule changes;
  • ticket disputes;
  • livestream interruptions;
  • venue conditions;
  • organizer conduct;
  • performer conduct;
  • travel losses;
  • lodging losses;
  • indirect damages;
  • incidental damages;
  • consequential damages;
  • punitive damages;
  • lost profits;
  • reputational harm.

Trepy’s aggregate liability relating to ticketing services shall not exceed the amount paid directly to Trepy by the claimant relating to the applicable transaction.

Certain jurisdictions may not allow some limitations.

22. ARBITRATION AND CLASS ACTION WAIVER

This Ticketing Policy is subject to the arbitration and class action waiver provisions contained in the Trepy Terms of Service.

Disputes relating to ticketing, refunds, events, livestreams, or related transactions shall be resolved through binding individual arbitration governed by the Federal Arbitration Act.

Users waive participation in:

  • class actions;
  • collective actions;
  • representative proceedings;
  • consolidated claims.

23. MODIFICATIONS TO THIS POLICY

Trepy may update this Ticketing Policy from time to time.

Updated versions may be posted through the platform.

Continued use of Trepy after updates may constitute acceptance of revised terms.
