Trepy Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) governs the use of Trepy’s platform, services, applications, communications systems, ticketing systems, livestream systems, organizational tools, and related functionality.
This AUP supplements the:
- Trepy Terms of Service
- Trepy Privacy Policy
- Trepy SMS / Messaging Terms
- Trepy Cookie Policy
- any additional policies published by Trepy
By accessing or using Trepy, you agree to comply with this AUP.
Trepy reserves the right to investigate, restrict, suspend, remove, disable, or terminate access relating to conduct that violates this AUP or threatens the safety, integrity, reliability, legality, or operation of the platform.
NOTE: THIS AGREEMENT CONTAINS ARBITRATION, INDEMNIFICATION, AND CLASS ACTION WAIVER CLAUSES

By Agreeing to this Agreement, you are agreeing to all of the forgoing policies and terms.
1. PURPOSE OF THIS POLICY
Trepy was built to help individuals, organizations, creators, instructors, performers, guides, hosts, educators, speakers, event operators, and communities communicate, organize, engage audiences, manage events, and deliver meaningful experiences.
This AUP exists to:
- protect Users and organizations;
- protect platform integrity;
- promote lawful and responsible use;
- reduce abuse and fraud;
- maintain operational stability;
- support compliance obligations;
- support safe communications;
- protect infrastructure providers and integrations.
Trepy may interpret and enforce this AUP at its discretion.
2. GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Users, organizations, Treps, sub-admins, and other participants are responsible for:
- complying with applicable laws;
- complying with platform policies;
- respecting the rights of others;
- maintaining lawful communications;
- maintaining lawful business practices;
- ensuring lawful event operations;
- protecting account credentials;
- using the platform responsibly.
Users are responsible for all activity occurring through their accounts unless prohibited by applicable law.
3. PROHIBITED ILLEGAL ACTIVITY
Trepy may not be used for unlawful activity.
Prohibited activity includes, but is not limited to:
- violating laws or regulations;
- facilitating illegal conduct;
- unlawful ticket sales;
- unlawful financial schemes;
- money laundering;
- fraud;
- identity theft;
- deceptive business practices;
- unauthorized surveillance;
- unlawful gambling;
- prohibited firearms transactions;
- prohibited drug activity;
- trafficking activity;
- unlawful adult exploitation;
- unlawful securities activity;
- unlawful fundraising;
- export violations;
- sanctions violations.
Trepy reserves the right to cooperate with law enforcement and regulatory authorities.
4. FRAUD, DECEPTION, AND MISREPRESENTATION
Users may not:
- impersonate individuals or organizations;
- create deceptive accounts;
- misrepresent identity;
- falsify event information;
- manipulate transactions;
- engage in fraudulent ticket sales;
- engage in phishing;
- engage in scams;
- create misleading communications;
- engage in deceptive marketing.
Trepy may investigate suspected fraud and suspend accounts pending review.
5. SPAM AND COMMUNICATION ABUSE
Trepy communication systems may not be used for:
- spam;
- unlawful bulk messaging;
- phishing;
- deceptive communications;
- unauthorized marketing;
- abusive messaging;
- unlawful SMS campaigns;
- robocall-like behavior;
- consentless communications;
- communications violating carrier rules;
- harassment campaigns.
Organizations and Treps are independently responsible for:
- obtaining required consent;
- honoring opt-out requests;
- complying with the TCPA and similar laws;
- complying with carrier rules;
- complying with messaging provider requirements.
Trepy reserves the right to:
- monitor messaging activity;
- restrict campaigns;
- disable messaging functionality;
- suspend messaging access;
- terminate accounts.
6. HARASSMENT, ABUSE, AND HARMFUL CONDUCT
Users may not engage in:
- harassment;
- threats;
- intimidation;
- bullying;
- hate speech;
- violent extremism;
- stalking;
- targeted abuse;
- unlawful discrimination;
- doxxing;
- malicious impersonation;
- incitement of violence.
Trepy may remove content or restrict accounts where conduct threatens:
- user safety;
- platform integrity;
- lawful operations;
- community trust.
Trepy may act before receiving court orders where reasonably necessary to protect the platform or its users.
7. SEXUAL, EXPLOITATIVE, OR HARMFUL CONTENT
Trepy may not be used for:
- child sexual abuse material;
- exploitation of minors;
- non-consensual sexual content;
- unlawful pornography;
- revenge pornography;
- human exploitation;
- trafficking activity;
- unlawful adult services;
- exploitative sexual conduct.
Trepy maintains zero tolerance for child exploitation-related content or conduct.
Trepy reserves the right to report suspected violations to law enforcement or appropriate organizations.
8. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY VIOLATIONS
Users may not:
- upload infringing content;
- violate copyrights;
- violate trademarks;
- violate publicity rights;
- distribute unauthorized media;
- misuse proprietary branding;
- unlawfully livestream protected content.
Users are responsible for obtaining:
- music licenses;
- broadcast rights;
- event rights;
- venue permissions;
- publicity permissions;
- content licenses.
Trepy may remove allegedly infringing content or suspend repeat violators.
9. EVENT AND TICKETING ABUSE
Users may not:
- manipulate ticket inventory;
- bypass ticketing restrictions;
- create fraudulent events;
- use stolen payment methods;
- unlawfully resell tickets;
- engage in ticket scalping where prohibited;
- falsify event attendance;
- manipulate check-in systems;
- create deceptive event listings.
Trepy reserves the right to:
- cancel tickets;
- freeze transactions;
- withhold settlements;
- investigate suspicious activity;
- remove event listings.
10. LIVESTREAM ABUSE
Users may not use livestream functionality for:
- unlawful broadcasts;
- infringing broadcasts;
- exploitative content;
- violent extremism;
- harassment;
- unlawful gambling;
- prohibited adult exploitation;
- malicious conduct;
- malware distribution.
Trepy may:
- terminate streams;
- remove content;
- suspend livestream privileges;
- disable accounts.
Trepy does not actively pre-screen all livestream content.
11. SECURITY VIOLATIONS
Users may not:
- bypass authentication systems;
- access unauthorized accounts;
- scrape platform data;
- conduct vulnerability scanning without authorization;
- deploy malware;
- interfere with infrastructure;
- conduct denial-of-service attacks;
- exploit vulnerabilities;
- interfere with security systems;
- reverse engineer protected systems.
Trepy reserves the right to investigate security incidents and cooperate with authorities.
12. AUTOMATION, BOTS, AND SCRAPING
Unauthorized automation is prohibited.
Users may not:
- scrape data;
- harvest information;
- conduct unauthorized crawling;
- create fake engagement;
- artificially inflate metrics;
- use bots to manipulate ticketing systems;
- bypass technical restrictions.
Trepy may:
- restrict API access;
- block IP addresses;
- rate limit requests;
- suspend accounts engaging in automation abuse.
13. PRIVACY VIOLATIONS
Users may not:
- unlawfully collect personal information;
- share private information without authorization;
- engage in surveillance abuse;
- misuse attendee information;
- misuse ticket purchaser information;
- violate privacy laws.
Organizations are independently responsible for maintaining lawful privacy practices.
14. PAYMENT AND FINANCIAL ABUSE
Users may not:
- engage in chargeback abuse;
- use stolen payment methods;
- engage in fraudulent transactions;
- manipulate settlement systems;
- evade fees;
- conduct money laundering;
- engage in unlawful financial conduct.
Trepy reserves the right to:
- freeze settlements;
- delay payouts;
- reverse transactions;
- report suspicious activity;
- require identity verification.
15. HIGH-RISK ACTIVITIES
Trepy may prohibit or restrict use relating to:
- high-risk financial activity;
- adult services;
- illegal gambling;
- unlawful substances;
- prohibited weapons;
- exploitative industries;
- sanctioned jurisdictions;
- prohibited fundraising;
- multi-level marketing abuse;
- deceptive investment schemes.
Trepy may determine restricted categories at its discretion.
16. ACCOUNT INTEGRITY
Users are responsible for:
- maintaining secure passwords;
- restricting account access;
- monitoring account activity;
- maintaining accurate information.
Users may not:
- share credentials improperly;
- sell accounts;
- transfer accounts without authorization;
- create accounts for unlawful purposes.
Trepy reserves the right to require:
- identity verification;
- organizational verification;
- payment verification;
- security reviews.
17. THIRD-PARTY PROVIDER COMPLIANCE
Trepy relies on third-party infrastructure and service providers.
Users must comply with applicable provider policies, including policies relating to:
- payments;
- messaging;
- livestreaming;
- cloud hosting;
- content distribution.

Violations of provider policies may result in:
- restricted functionality;
- suspension;
- termination;
- reporting obligations.
18. CONTENT MODERATION
Trepy reserves the right, but not the obligation, to:
- review content;
- investigate reports;
- remove content;
- restrict visibility;
- suspend features;
- terminate accounts.
Trepy may act:
- proactively;
- reactively;
- manually;
- automatically;
- based on third-party reports;
- based on legal requests.
Trepy does not guarantee continuous moderation or review of all content.
19. REPORTING VIOLATIONS
Users may report:
- unlawful content;
- abusive behavior;
- intellectual property violations;
- fraud;
- security concerns;
- policy violations.
Trepy may investigate reports at its discretion.
Trepy does not guarantee specific enforcement outcomes.
20. ENFORCEMENT ACTIONS
Trepy may take actions including:
- warnings;
- content removal;
- feature restrictions;
- messaging restrictions;
- ticket cancellations;
- livestream termination;
- payout holds;
- account suspension;
- permanent account termination;
- legal reporting.
Trepy may act without prior notice where reasonably necessary.
21. NO OBLIGATION TO MONITOR
Trepy does not assume an obligation to:
- monitor all content;
- monitor all events;
- monitor all livestreams;
- monitor all communications;
- verify all organizations;
- investigate every report.
Users remain responsible for their own conduct.
22. DISCLAIMERS
Trepy provides the platform “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE.”
Trepy does not guarantee:
- continuous moderation;
- uninterrupted enforcement;
- prevention of all abuse;
- removal of all harmful content;
- prevention of unlawful conduct by third parties.
Trepy is not responsible for:
- user-generated content;
- independent organizational conduct;
- third-party misuse;
- external communications;
- event conduct;
- livestream content.
23. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TREPY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:
- user conduct;
- third-party conduct;
- offensive content;
- unlawful communications;
- event failures;
- livestream failures;
- indirect damages;
- incidental damages;
- consequential damages;
- reputational harm;
- lost profits;
- loss of data.
Certain jurisdictions may not allow some limitations.
24. ARBITRATION AND CLASS ACTION WAIVER
This Acceptable Use Policy is subject to the arbitration and class action waiver provisions contained in the Trepy Terms of Service.
Disputes relating to this AUP shall be resolved through binding individual arbitration governed by the Federal Arbitration Act.
Users waive participation in:
- class actions;
- collective actions;
- representative proceedings;
- consolidated claims.
25. MODIFICATIONS TO THIS POLICY
Trepy may update this AUP from time to time.
Updated versions may be posted through the platform.
Continued use of the Services after updates may constitute acceptance of revised terms.
